“I chose to specialize in interventional pain medicine because it’s rewarding to help my patients find relief from their chronic pain. Many of them have been struggling to find the right treatment that will help restore their quality of life. I find great satisfaction in tackling that challenge and helping them get their lives back on track. I always treat my patients the way I would want to be treated and there is no greater reward than minimizing one’s pain while restoring quality of life.”
Dr. Hanes is a University of Michigan football fan and spends his free time at the gym. He and his wife are members of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church as well as advocates for the hearing impaired community. They are dedicated to helping spread awareness of hearing impairment and improving education to those affected by hearing loss.
