Throughout my career I have witnessed how chronic pain can significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. My passion is to inspire and empower my patients in regaining their normal functionality. Most importantly, pain management allows me to develop meaningful relationships with my patients, which is something I find very fulfilling.

Dr. Alfonso is originally from Orlando, FL.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his loved ones, traveling, and playing sports. He is an enthusiastic Florida Gator and Jacksonville Jaguars fan.  Dr. Alfonso also enjoys working with the youth and has volunteered his time working with children and teens with life threatening illnesses at Camp Boggy Creek in Eustis, FL.
