Why I Chose Pain Management

“The field of Pain Medicine is one of the main reasons that I chose to become an Anesthesiologist. Though patients in pain represent one of the most difficult populations to treat, it is extremely satisfying to make a real difference in everyday lives by reducing or even eliminating pain. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients personally and follow along in their journey through life. Nothing makes me happier than to hear that my patients are getting back to enjoying their everyday activities and living life to its fullest.”

Personal Interests & Community Involvement

Dr. Mann is originally from Valdosta, Georgia and is excited to be back in the North FL/South GA area after several years away. He has two children and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking, camping and relaxing at the beach. He is an amateur musician, handyman and likes to cook and travel in his free time. Dr. Mann has taken part in medical and non-medical missions both within and outside the U.S. So far, he has participated in volunteer efforts in Mexico, Ecuador, Portugal, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia. He plans to continue this kind of volunteer work throughout his career.
